for the daily maintenance, care and management of the golf course.
The Second Assistant is responsible for chemical and fertilizer applications
and irrigation maintenance. The Second Assistant is designed to be
an entry-level position with a major focus on maintenance and a minor focus
on management. It is designed to be a transitional position to provide
guidance for the individual’s growth and promotion in the golf course management
industry.
Worked Performed 1. The Second Assistant’s basic duties will include,
but not limited to: course set up, water management, operation of all mowing
and motorized equipment, bunker maintenance, overseeding. These tasks
are the bulk of the individual’s daily responsibilities.
