Completion Requirements
Certificate candidates must successfully complete (grade C or better) a total of 30 units: eight required courses (24 units) and a minimum of six elective units.

Program Prerequisites
No prior college coursework is required, but knowledge of basic mathematical and algebraic calculation, PC use and introductory botany is recommended.

Transfer Credit
Due to changing methods and advancing technologies, equivalent courses from other accredited colleges and universities will be considered for acceptance only for electives and the required courses, Principles of Plant Growth and Introduction to Chemistry for Environmental and Agricultural Professionals. Up to nine total units completed within the last five years may be applied to the certificate.
